More than 60 people took part in today's 4.20 protest on the University of Otago Union Lawn.
People from all walks of life attended, including some of this year's new students.
The protests against the prohibition of marijuana caused a stink when they began three years ago, and have been a growing event ever since.
Organisers say it's now twice a week on Wednesdays, as well as Fridays at 4.20 pm.
This Wednesday's protest was the first with new students, and more than 100 people atended.
The protests are at 4.20pm because the number 4.20 is the American police code for a marijuana offence.
