Leading Auckland fashion designer Jason Crawford, 37, has been jailed for six years on drugs and receiving charges.
The owner of fashion label Insidious Fix appeared in the Auckland District Court on charges laid after police raided warehouses in south Auckland in 2005.
They found $1 million worth of cannabis plants and nearly $400,000 in stolen goods.
Judge Mary Beth Sharp said it was a sophisticated hydroponic cultivation and there was a large amount of stolen material.
After the sentencing, Crawford's lawyer, Gary Gotlieb, said his client's conviction and sentence would be appealed.
The court was yet to decide on a Crown application for Crawford to forfeit more than $450,000 worth of assets under the Proceeds of Crimes Act.
