Come out and support marijuana law reform. Otago NORML, the Dunedin Cannabis Club and OUSA invite you to join us on the Union Lawn every Wednesday and Friday afternoon at 4:20pm to relax and chat with warm, friendly students, staff and the odd political activist. Bring a friend; bring some buds. All welcome. 18+

Of course since OUSA has declared all of Otago University Campus a 'prohibition free zone', meaning that cannabis prohibition laws don't apply, and OUSA 'supports the smoking of cannabis on campus as an act of protest against cannabis prohibition', this means that any students and their visitors are welcome to smoke cannabis on campus at any time.
Sometimes Campus Watch, the campus security force, think that they can try to tell students not to smoke cannabis on campus, as in several recent incidents. But every time that Campus Watch tries to intimidate a cannabis smoker they are met with the resistance of all OUSA members and their elected executive, and it only serves to bring more attention to the rapidly growing movement for immediate cannabis law reform in Dunedin. Come show your support on Wednesdays and Fridays!
