Cannabis now a B Class Drug in the UK

Cannabis has been moved up from a C class to a B class drug in the United Kingdom. The UK government seems to have made a pointless and illogical decision in making cannabis B class.

This means that a person can expect up to 5 years imprisonment because of simple possession of the drug. Its so sad that the UK seems to flip-flop back and forth between these two classes of drugs rather than focusing on reforming the way that they deal with drugs.

The UK has even come out with an anti-cannabis ad that is aimed at 'showing the mental health risks of using cannabis'. You can see the video on the BBC website here:
