Breaking News - June 4,2008
This just in! On Tuesday a scarfie flat was raided by the police at the behest of the Campus Cop. The flatmates say that Campus Watch has been continually harrassing their flat all year and has repeatedly spied on them by peeking through their window. According to one flatmate if you live around the student quarter you can kiss your privacy goodbye as Campus Watch regularly ignore such concerns in their 'pursuit of offenders'.

Kia Ora,
Just a quick note of Solidarity with your actions in
regard to Campus Watch and the affected students.
Campus Watch were sold to University Students and the
wider Dunedin community as a tool to protect students
from harm and reduce (drunken) disorder. This was
meant to be achieved by means of communicating and
building a friendly rapport with students. I am
saddened that the situation has deviated so
drastically from the 'sell line' the University used.
Peace, Respect and Solidarity,

Dear proctor,
Our names are XXXXX and XXXXX, and we are writing you as concerned members of the student body. As you are probably well aware, one of your Campus Watch employees arrested an innocent cannabis smoker yesterday on the OUSA sanctioned, 'Prohibition Free' campus.
As far as we have been informed, campus watch is there to protect and assist, not intimidate and persecute. We fear that these actions will only lead to further devastation of these students rights, going against what campus watch was initially put in place for.
This page will be where we collate information surrounding the interaction between Dunedin cannabis users, the New Zealand Police and Otago University's Campus Watch.
Print this page and carry it with you!
